- The mission of Brier Terrace Middle School is to create a positive learning environment which enhances and nurtures the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of young adolescents.

Instructional Program Highlights
- Reading is taught in all classes through content area text material. Reading specialist on staff to assist students who need additional assistance; free after school and summer reading academies.
- Science, math, and technology are taught via a dynamic SciMaTech elective class.
- Full music and arts program. Students may take early morning PE to enable a full schedule as well as music. 44% of students take music.
- Language arts and social studies classes are blocked. Teachers work in instructional teams.
